Sta. Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas champions literacy

Sep 27, 2019 @ 11:48

If there’s a skill that would open so many doors for children, it is literacy.

Which is why Sta. Rosa Mayor Arlene Arcillas is making sure to advocate for the ability to read and write.

In a Facebook post, Arcillas said literacy day is one of her favorite annual events and she celebrated it with children.

She asked her friends and followers to do their part to encourage the future generation to read.

She shared a very apt quote from Sasha Salmina, who said, “A child who reads will be an adult who thinks.”

Let’s make sure the next generation knows how to use its brain!

“One of my favorite annual event/activities: Literacy Day! 💗 This time celebrated at Gabaldon Hall at Central 2.

Let us do our part in encouraging our future generation to READ!
