Safer shopping at Taytay tiangge, says Mayor Joric Gacula
Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula is glad that the Taytay police has gone the extra mile by deploying tourist police to the town’s popular tiangge.
For its part, the Taytay government will deploy its own secret marshals to make sure that shoppers will be extra safe as they hunt for bargains, Gacula said on Facebook.
Together, the security forces would be watching out for pickpockets and robbers so that the place would remain an enticing destination.
Taytay is popular for its tiangge, which is why the area has to be a discipline zone.
Now that the holidays are approaching, we don’t want to turn off shoppers!
“Salamat Po! Police Lt.Col. #bestTaytay,” Gacula posted.
