Ala eh okay! Dodo Mandanas welcomes choice of Batangas as pilot site for UHC Law rollout
Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas has expressed elation at the Department of Health’s decision to include the province as one of the pilot sites for the implementation of the Universal Healthcare Law (UHC).
Mandanas said the UHC Law’s implementation will be in line with the provincial government’s thrust of providing quality health care to Batangueños.
The UHC Law expands the range of medical services available for free or the least possible cost to Filipinos.
The DOH has chosen a total of 33 sites where the UHC Law will initially be rolled out next year.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan has approved Provincial Health Board Resolution No. 01-19 endorsing the choice of Batangas as a pilot site for UHC Law implementation.
The resolution formalizes the provincial government’s support for DOH’s roll out of the landmark public health initiative.
