Kabuhayan para sa lahat: Barzagas grace livelihood training orientation
Cavite Rep. Elpidio Barzaga and his wife, Dasmariñas Mayor Jenny Barzaga, are partners in making the lives of their constituents better.
The Barzagas graced the orientation for various livelihood training programs offered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Provincial Training Center on July 6.
The city government clustered 75 barangays and scheduled them into four Saturdays to ensure the orientation covers the entire Dasmariñas.
TESDA offers various training programs form unemployed adults, displaced workers, repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), solo parents, Persons with Disability (PWDs), out of school youth and drug surrenderees.
The orientation included demonstration of actual performance of the courses offered. The covered court was customized into cubicles where corresponding equipment of various courses were set up. Free haircut, massage, manicure and pedicure were also offered at the event.
The event was made more fun with a raffle where a total of P15,000 was given away.
