Seeing his son in the council sends Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula on a senti trip
Now that his own son Kyle is a Councilor, Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula could not help but look back on his political journey.
On Facebook, the mayor said a photo of his son at the council’s session made him reminisce about his own time as a legislator when Taytay’s own budget was just P97 million.
At that time, his colleagues in the council worked to increase Taytay’s income to be able to provide better services to the people.
Decades later, Taytay’s income stands at P1.25 billion and growing every year as the town progresses, with investors coming and its garments industry flourishing.
Who knows, Taytay may be even richer when it comes time for his son to take on higher leadership roles!
“When i saw this picture of my son Kyle in their regular Sangguniang Bayan session. I remember being a Legislator in 1995 when the budget of Taytay was only 97 million. My distinguished colleagues in the Council tried everything to raise the income of our Municipality to improve services to the people. The annual income of Taytay today is 1.250 Billion and growing every year due to the economic prowess of our garments industry and influx of investors in our town,” the mayor posted.
