Umayos kayo! Calatagan Mayor Peter Palacio disappointed at youths destroying the local park

Jul 17, 2019 @ 11:52

Keeping Calatagan clean and inviting to tourists should not be left to local government officials alone, according to Mayor Peter Palacio.

In a Facebook post, Palacio expressed dismay at a group of undisciplined youths who had ruined efforts to keep Calatagan’s park clean.

He said Calatagan is known as a tourist destination, and the park is crucial to keeping that image.

He called on the youths and their parents to talk with him.

At the same time, he called on the people of Calatagan to keep in mind that they need to act properly. Parents should supervise their children as well.

As for the youth of Calatagan, they must remember the values they learned in school, he added.

After all, a better Calatagan means a better future for them!
