GMA, Cavite Councilor Alfredo Abueg worried about rising dengue cases
The number of dengue cases in Carmona, Silang, and General Mariano Alvarez, as well as in Trece Martires, have risen so drastically that hospitals are running out of space.
This has GMA Councilor Alfredo Abueg worried, and prompted him to share tips to families on how to take care of those who had contracted the mosquito borne disease.
In a Facebook post, Abueg reminded them to hydrate the patients and to check the color of their pee to see if they are drinking enough water.
If they remain weak after two to three days, they should be brought to the hospital.
Those who had been injected with Dengvaxia must also be watched closely. They should eat healthy food like vegetables and take vitamins as well.
The local government would also be conducting clean up drives and operations to destroy thge breeding grounds of mosquitoes, Lacson said.
Dengue may be alarming, but officials aren’t sitting around doing nothing!
