Nature first, before housing says Alfonso Mayor Randy Salamat

Jul 6, 2019 @ 11:12

While the sprouting up of new housing developments can be a good sign, this doesn’t mean it has to come to the expense of nature.

Alfonso Vice Mayor Randy Salamat recently visited Camella Alfonso and the Marahan-Matagbak river.

In a Facebook post, Salamat said the leadership of Camella Alfonso agreed that the would rehabilitate and install protective measures along the river before beginning their construction activities.

The housing leaders promised this could be done in two months.

For Salamat, nature should be protected even amid progress!

“Site visit at Camella Alfonso and Marahan-Matagbak river.

#ResponsablengSerbisyo,” Salamat posted.
