With elections over, Dodo Mandanas resumes giving educational assistance
The provincial government of Batangas has resumed giving financial assistance to students since the ban imposed due to the midterm elections has been lifted.
Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas led the distribution of financial aid to over 1,100 students from colleges and universities in the province at the provincial capitol.
This was followed by the release of over P1 million to some 311 financially needy students in Tanauan City on May 22.
Qualified students from the Batangas State University-Nasugbu also received financial aid from Mandanas.
According to a press release from the provincial government, Mandanas distributed over P10.4 million in educational assistance to a total of 1,775 students last week.
