Batangas Vice Governor-elect Mark Leviste can’t help but be overwhelmed and humbled that he will be returning to the provincial capitol building.
In a Facebook post, Leviste shared a photo of him kissing the floor inside the building where a mural of Apolinario Mabini was placed.
He said it was a “sign of gratitude, humility and respect to my beloved institution.”
Three years felt like a long time, yet the thrill of coming back has never changed. As they say; there’s no place like home, and truly (home) is where the heart is,” Leviste said.
The returning Vice Governor said he is thrilled to start all over again, and is ready to take on the challenge to lead.
