Sta. Rosa Mayor Dan Fernandez asks employers to ensure workers’ safety

Apr 26, 2019 @ 11:53

Employers shouldn’t just think of their properties and their merchandise when an earthquake strikes; they should keep their workers’ welfare in mind.

This was according to Sta. Rosa Mayor Dan Fernandez, who issued the reminder in a Facebook post in the wake of a strong quake that jolted Luzon recently.

Fernandez said they should immediately address any issue that would endanger the safety of their employees.

The people’s safety must be paramount above all else, he stressed.

Things can be replaced, but not lives!
