Rizal governor Nini Ynares has stepped up the provincial government’s campaign against illegal drugs.

Ynares recently launched “Alertong Barangay at Komunidad Kontra Droga,” which aims to tap communities as partners in the government’s anti-narcotics drive.

She was represented at the event by Mayor Jun Ynares of Antipolo City, Mayor Jun Bernardo of Cardona, local officials, and people of Cardona.

During the launch, Ynares also gave awards to select individuals who have made significant contributions in the fight against illegal drugs.

With the new campaign, the provincial government is hoping that communities will be more inspired to report drug users and pushers to authorities.
