Dala ang kalingang Cavite: Revillas visit Bicol for ‘Usman’ relief ops
The onslaught of Tropical Depression Usman may long be over, but the family of former senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. hasn’t forgotten the victims’ plight.
The Revillas traveled to Albay and Camarines Sur earlier this month to give 7,500 relief packs to residents affected by Usman.
Joining the trip were Bong, his wife, Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado, and their son, Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla.
Photos posted by Jolo on his Facebook page showed the typhoon victims smiling from ear to ear upon seeing the Revillas.
The family’s presence in the provin es brought as much joy to the Bicolanos as the relief packs they gave.
