Hanggang TV na lang: Here’s why Angelica Jones won’t watch Pacquiao-Broner fight live

Jan 20, 2019 @ 14:52

Laguna 3rd district board member Angelica Jones will be rooting for Senator Pacquiao from a distance as he faces off with American boxer Adrien Broner in Las Vegas, Nevada Sunday.

In a Facebook post, Jones said she was unable to fly to the United States to watch Pacquiao’s fight live because of “obligations” in Laguna and the need to take care of her son, who was sick.

“Sa lahat ng laban ni boss kumpare Manny ng out of the country lagi po ako nakakasama. First time ko na di nakasama bec. I have Obligations here in Laguna and esp.my son is sick,” she said.

Despite staying in the Philippines for the fight, Jones said Pacquiao is always in her prayers.

“Naniniwala po ako maiuuwi mo ang karangalan ng Pilipinas boss. We love you boss! See u when u get back,” she said.

Pacquiao will fight Broner for the WBA welterweight title.
