San Pedro Councilor Jimbo Ambayec was a teacher before he became a politiko
San Pedro, Laguna Councilor Jimbo Ambayec may be a public servant now, but before he joined politics, he was a proud teacher.
Ambayec shared this tidbit on Facebook. He started teaching at 21 years old and was the youngest faculty member at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa. He also chaired its political science department.
At 24, he was elected to lead the faculty association and was the teachers’ representatives at the Board of Regents.
At present, he also teaches courses under the Master of Public Administration program at the Laguna Northwestern College. He also teachers social science at the San Pedro City Polytechnic College.
So he’s not just your usual politiko. He could teach you a lot!
