The contractor in charge of building the third Calumpang bridge in Batangas City is fast-tracking its construction to ensure it will be finished before the city’s fiesta on January 16, 2019.
Frey-Fil Corporation on December 11 showed the progress of the bridge’s construction to city officials so they can have a sneak peek of how it looks like.
The event was attended by Mayor Beverley Rose Dimacuha, Congressman Marvey Marino, city officials, department heads, businessmen and members of the media.
The third Calumpang bridge is 140 meters long and has four lanes. It traverses sitio Ferry Kumintang Ibaba until Gulod Labac.
The bridge was constructed at the cost of P338 million.
