Chance encounter with Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto leads to a better life for young boy

Dec 14, 2018 @ 11:14

Cainta Mayor Kit Nieto’s good deeds are bearing fruit.

Proof of this is a young boy named Christian with whom Nieto had a chance encounter in a hospital.

In a Facebook post, the mayor shared that he chanced upon Christian and his mom when he was in line for an ultrasound.

They got chatting and the mother shared that Christian had a disorder and a speech deficiency. When he learned that the child had to stop seeing a therapist because of lack of funds, he decided to help right there and then.

He sent the boy to Medical City to see a child developmental behavioral pediatrician and he underwent speech and language therapy and SPED tutorials. These will last for six months at no cost to the mother.

Recently, Christian and his mom came to see Nieto to thank him for his help. He said they brought with them the hope for a better future for the boy being raised by his single mom.

All these are thanks to the mayor’s generosity.

Truly, no good deed goes unanswered!

“I saw them in one of my visits to our hospital.. i was to undergo an ultra sound procedure myself.. since they were next in line, i asked who between them was sick.. the mother pointed to her son… kelangan ng xray at lan procedures.. three days ng may sakit yung bata… tapos, nagkwento na siya… christian had some disorder and had speech deficiency.. i asked if she has seen a therapist… she did for a month but had to stop.. kasi kahit may trabaho, di naman sapat para sa gastos ng therapy… i asked if she will allow me to help.. i sent christian to Medical City to see a child developmental behavioral pediatrician… he was assessed and underwent speech and language therapy and sped tutorials.. at no cost to her.. its going to be a 6 month therapy session… and today they came back para magpasalamat… and with the visit, they brought with them the hope of a better future for christian, anak ng isang masipag at matibay na single mom… Merry christmas❤️,” Nieto shared on Facebook.
