Erin Tañada urges Filipinos to scrutinize anti-poverty measures of current, past admins

Nov 9, 2018 @ 19:41

Opposition senatorial candidate Erin Tanada called on the public to scrutinize the anti-poverty measures instituted by the current and past administrations.

The Quezon politiko said the fight against poverty post-EDSA seem to have been fruitless.

He also said addressing poverty should go beyond statistics.

Bakit? Baon sa utang. In other words, they just hit the numbers but they’re in debt,” Tañada said.
