No trash left behind! Taytay Mayor Joric Gacula to deploy electric bikes to collect garbage in narrow alleys
Just because big, lumbering dump trucks could not fit in alleys does not mean that these areas of Taytay would not be cleaned.
Mayor Joric Gacula will deploy environment-friendly electric bikes to collect biodegradable and non-biodegradable trash in narrow alleys.
Gacula shared photos of the bikes’ prototypes in a Facebook post and said these would be deployed gradually to ensure the cleanliness of Taytay.
He urged barangays to look for similar means to collect garbage.
They do say cleanliness is next to godliness!
#ynaresecosystem #YesWecan #bestTaytay,” Gacula posted on Facebook.
