Francis Tolentino files COC for senator
Former Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs Francis Tolentino filed his certificate of candidacy for senator on October 17.
The Cavite politiko said he will push for an environmental justice law if he wins.
“When there are big tragedies where people are involved, someone should be held accountable,” Tolentino said.
“Someone should be held accountable for landslides, for deforestation of our mountains that cause flooding,” he added.
Tolentino was President Rodrigo Duterte during the onslaught of Typhoon Ompong.
