Francis Tolentino urges government to support urban agriculture, hydrophonics
Presidential Adviser for Political Affairs Francis Tolentino called on the government to support urban agriculture and hydrophonics amid the rising prices of commodities in the country.
The Cavite politiko said urban agriculture and hydrophonics will ensure food security.
Tolentino said he introduced hydrophonics to Tagaytay City when he was still mayor.
He said the program is still being implemented now.
Tolentino also said he implemented vertical gardening in some parts of EDSA to reduce pollution.
He explained that these agricultural innovations will help stabilize food prices.
