Gov Mandanas inaugurates Bantayog-Wika in Batangas Capitol

Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas on August 23 led the inauguration of the eighth Bantayog-Wika in the provincial capitol compound.
The 10-feet tall Bantayog-Wika was sculpted by Luis “Junyee” Yee Jr.
It is made of stainless steel in the shape of bamboo.
Inscribed on it is the the poem “Pag-ibig sa Tinubuang Bayan” by Andres Bonifacio.
The Bantayog-Wika aims symbolizes the value of local languages in the role in shaping culture and traditions.
