Mayor Halili, LPU sign MOA for city hall workers’ masteral program
Tanauan City Mayor Antonio Halili and the Lyceum of the Philippines University (LPU) on June 5 signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to offer a masteral scholarship program for qualified city government employees.
The scholarship program will enable city government workers to pursue further studies for their career advancement in public service.
It also aims to strengthen the bureaucracy of the local government.
“We will raise the bar of public service in the city government of Tanauan by professionalizing our ranks,” Halili said.
So far 15 city hall employees have passed the qualifying examinations.
