Gov Suarez eyes development clusters for Quezon
Quezon Governor David Suarez is seeking to maximize the development of various industries areas in the province.
The Quezon politiko, during the 2nd Provincial Development Council Meeting on May 24, said he wants to form development clusters in the following industries: tourism, agriculture, commercial, heavy industries, airport, education, fisheries and minerals.
Suarez said these proposal is currently pending in the House of Representatives.
Under the bill, Quezon will be divided into seven districts specializing in a specific industry.
The seven proposed districts are Northern Quezon, Central Quezon, Lucena City, Banahaw Cluster, Bondoc Peninsula, Lamon Bay District and at Ragay Gulf District.
“The formation of development clusters in Quezon Province aims to fully maximize the potential of specific areas para mas maging focused at direct ang policies, programs and proposals base sa kaunlaran ng kanilang lokalidad,” he said.
