Tayo hanggang dulo! Bacoor Mayor Lani Mercado has sweet anniv message for hubby Bong
Despite the many ups and downs in their 32 years of marriage, Bacoor Rep. Lani Mercado has vowed to stay by her husband Bong Revilla’s side for always.
In a Facebook post, Mercado seemed optimistic that her husband, detained for plunder, would be freed, as she shared her strong belief that their family would be complete again soon.
She also said it doesn’t feel as if they have been married long because she knows there is still so much time for them to be together.
She prays for the time he would be sent home to be with their family. She looks forward to growing old with him, taking care of their grandkids, she said.
And despite the challenges that came their way, she is certain they are meant to be together.
Mercado thanked her hubby for giving her wings and urging her to fly, and for guiding her way.
They may be apart now, but he is always with her in spirit!
“Has it really been 32 years since we walked down the aisle? It certainly doesn’t feel that way. It doesn’t feel that we’ve already spent that much time together because there is still so much time for us to be together. I long to hear your footsteps on our front door. I pray for you to be by our side. I dream of growing old and gray with you, with our children and granchildren hovering over us, taking care of us.We’ve had our ups and downs, that’s true, but there is one thing that I want you to know: I would not be me without you. You gave me my wings. You urged me to fly. You were always there to guide me. You always looked out for me. My heart is filled with joy because I am able to do what I do with your spirit by my side.I know our family will be complete again soon. I know it!I love you Ramon Bong Revilla Jr.,” she posted.
