Listen to the people, says Morong Mayor Armando San Juan

May 18, 2018 @ 15:13

Public officials should not be afraid to hear feedback from the ground, according to Morong, Rizal Mayor Armando San Juan.

While some may shun criticism from their constituents, San Juan isn’t afraid to hear what they have to say.

In a Facebook post, he said the government can do a better job if there is supervision and critical oversight from the people.

Hearing views from the ground is the true mark of being a public servant, he said.

We’re glad to know that there’s a mayor who knows how to tap the public pulse!

“It is only when there is the supervision and critical oversight from the people that the government will be in a position to do an even better job, and employees of government departments will be the true public servants of the people,” he posted.
