Ibaan eyes more inspections of warehouses after shabu lab raid
The Ibaan municipal council is seeking more inspections of warehouses of business establishments after raid on a shabu laboratory in the town last week.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) raided a newly built warehouse last April 12 in Barangay Santo Niño, seizing P125-million worth of illegal drugs.
Four Filipinos and four Chinese nationals were also arrested.
The Ibaan municipal council asked Mayor Danny Torreja to conduct warehouse inspections.
Torreja already called for an emergency meeting with the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC), Municipal Anti Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) and Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) following the raid.
