Apr 12, 2018 @ 12:32

Cavite 2nd District Representative Strike Revilla on March 24 said the proposed One-Stop Service Center for OFWs (OSSCO) in Bacoor is still a work in progress.

The Cavite politiko recently met with representatives from the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), SM City Bacoor, and other government agencies to discuss the project.

The OOSCO will give frontline services to Caviteño OFWs or those still planning to work overseas.

“Nagkaroon po tayo kamakailan ng panibagong pagpupulong para sa ating isinusulong na One-Stop Service Center for OFWs (OSSCO) ng Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) sa Lungsod ng Bacoor. We were joined by ASEC Alex Avila of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Director Laura Timonera of OSSCO-POEA (for Deputy Administrator Joy Sanchez), SM City Bacoor heads, and representatives of the various government agencies and offices that will offer frontline services to fellow Bacooreños and Caviteños currently working or planning to work overseas,” Revilla said.

He also conducted an ocular inspection of the proposed site of the OSSCO at SM City Bacoor after the meeting.
