DA, DILG give Magallanes cash aid for good governance

Magallanes Mayor Angelli Maligaya-Bautista said the municipal government has received P1.3-million in financial aid from the Department of Agriculture (DA).
The Cavite politiko said the DA gave the P1.3 million as incentive for effective implementation of agriculture projects.
Bautista said the P1.3 million will be used to support the municipal government’s livestock projects and purchase of agricultural equipment.
She also said the Magallanes municipal government received P2 million for being recognized with the Seal of Good Local Governance by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The DILG also gave Magallanes P50,000 for being a silver awardee of the Environmental Compliance Audit.
