Magladlad na mga ateng! VG Jolo Revilla leads signing of Cavite Anti-LGBT discrimination ordinance

Feb 13, 2018 @ 13:52

Gay or lesbian residents of Cavite don’t need to fear coming out of the closet because the province’s officials themselves are staunch champions of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity and Expression ordinance that prohibits discrimination based on one’s sexual orientation.

Cavite Vice Gov. Jolo Revilla led the signing of the anti-discrimination or LGBT Ordinance in the province, which also got the backing of the provincial council.

According to Revilla, the council is united in calling for the protection of people who are abused because of their sexual orientation.

Moreover, the provincial officials also believe it’s time for the measure to become a national law.

Hooray for progressive minds!

Revilla posted on Facebook.
