Mayor Ynares awards scholarships to Antipolo Dance Sport Team after Wowowin victory

Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares on January 22 awarded educational assistance to the Antipolo Dance Sport Team after the group won the “Doobi Doobi Dap Dap Challenge” in GMA Network’s Wowowin.
The members of the dance group were given “working student scholarships” so they can finish their studies.
The Rizal politiko also said the dance group will be given opportunities to showcase their talents by endorsing them to the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) and the Department of Education (DepEd).
Ynares said the Antipolo Dance Sport Team serves as an inspiration to disadvantaged youth who continue to work hard to finish their education.
“Ipinagmamalaki po ng pamahalaang lungsod ang mga kabataang kagaya nila na hindi sumusuko sa kanilang mga pangarap at pag-aaral kahit na may mga pagsubok silang kinakaharap gaya ng kakulangan sa pinansyal at lugar kung saan sila maaaring mag-ensayo. Nawa ay maging mabuti silang ehemplo para sa mga kabataang Antipolenyo,” he said.
