Mariño leads distribution of welding machines, financial aid to TESDA scholars

Feb 6, 2018 @ 23:17

Batangas 5th District Representative Marvey Mariño on January 25 led the distribution of welding machines and financial aid to the province’s Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) scholars.

The 46 scholars completed a Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) NC-1 training program under TESDA.

Aside from the welding machines, the scholars each received P1,500 in transportation allowance from TESDA.

The Batangas politiko urged the scholars to complete their training until they become full-pledged welders.

Mariño also guaranteed that they will have firms they can go to for their on-the-job-training (OJT).
