Wala pa ring slot sa DFA? Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla joins efforts to help people desperate for passport appointments
Getting a passport appointment at the Department of Foreign Affairs remains near impossible despite assurances from higher ups, but thankfully, there are local officials taking steps to help their constituents.
Cavite Rep. Strike Revilla will bring the Mobile Passporting Service to Bacoor on March 3 for first time passport applicants and passport renewals.
Those who want to avail themselves of these services just need to fill out application forms and submit requirements in advance.
700 slots will be made available, Revilla said.
These may not be enough for those who need to get passports, but it is a big help, since securing an appointment on the DFA website might just need a miracle.
“Magandang balita, mga kapwa ko Bacooreño. ☀️
?Sa darating na March 03, 2018, dadalhin po natin sa Lungsod ng Bacoor (Strike Gymnasium, Bacoor Government Center or BGC) ang Mobile Passporting Service (MPS) para sa First-Time Application and Renewal. Many thanks again to the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) for allowing us to bring these services closer to our fellow Bacooreños. ?
?️Because we only have 700 slots available, we are accommodating applicants on a FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVED BASIS.
?️Walk-in applicants will NOT be entertained on March 03 during the Mobile Passporting Service (MPS).
?️Application/processing for Lost (Valid) Passport NOT included in Mobile Passporting Service (MPS).
?️For other concerns and inquiries, please contact Ms. Chai (481 4100 local 411 and 0997 261 8031) of the CSBR District Office.
Maraming salamat po,” Revilla posted on Facebook.
