Bacoor City deploys peacekeeping personnel to ensure orderly Undas 2017 celebration
The Bacoor City government has deployed peacekeeping personnel and set up motorist assistance desks to ensure an orderly celebration of the All Souls’ and All Saints day.
“As the country celebrates All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day this week, the City Government of Bacoor has taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety and convenience of families paying respect to their dearly departed,” the city government said.
Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla said that the City Government deployed
450 Philippine National Police , BPATS, and Tanods at the 11 public and private cemeteries in the vicinity of Bacoor.
“Apart from these, motorist assistance desks will be set up in gas stations along Aguinaldo Highway, Molino Road, and Tirona.” Bacoor City said.
Revilla said that with the program, she hopes to ensure the safety of motorists, the smooth flow of traffic, and the peaceful observation of these “most sacred of occasions.”
Also, the Bacoor City government advised the public not to bring the liquor, firearms and deadly weapons, videoke sound systems, flammable materials, and gambling paraphernalia during their visit to the cemeteries:
