Mahangin na sa loob! Pagbilao Mayor donates electric fans and hygiene products to inmates

Inmates have rights and deserve a degree of comfort, as well.
It seems Pagbilao Mayor Shierre Ann Portes-Palicpic did not forget this, as she recently donated 15 electric fans for the detainees at the Pagbilao District Jail. The politiko also gave out toiletries such as toothpaste and soap.
Moreover, officials of the Municipal Health Center conducted a medical and dental mission, which allowed the detainees to have their health conditions checked out.
Members of the group Men Opposed to Violence Against Women and Children Everywhere also held activities and projects for the inmates.
These may not seem like very grand gestures to some, but we’re sure they were very well appreciated by the inmates.
“Labinlimang (15) electric fans ang tinanggap ng inmates ng Pagbilao District Jail mula sa Pamahalaang Bayan ng Pagbilao sa pangunguna ni Mayor Shierre Ann Portes-Palicpic, Oktubre 24. Bukod sa mga bagong electric fan, namigay rin ang butihing punong bayan ng toiletries tulad ng toothpaste at sabon.
Samantala, nagsagawa ng medical and dental mission ang mga kawani ng Municipal Health Center doon. Dito, nagkaroon ng pagkakataon ang mga detainee na magpakonsulta sa pambayang doktor at/o magpabunot ng ngipin sa pambayang dentista.
Ipinaliwanag naman ng mga miyembro ng Men Opposed to Violence Against Women and Children Everywhere (MOVE), sa pangunguna ni MOVE Pagbilao President at Municipal Administrator Ian Palicpic, ang mga aktibidad at proyekto ng samahan.
