Phivolcs warns aftershocks after magnitude 5.4 quake rocked Batangas; Alisto mga Batangueno

A magnitude-5.4 quake rocked parts of Batangas Sunday night, with the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology warning of possible aftershocks.
Phivolcs said the quake, felt as far as Olongapo in Zambales and in Bulacan , was recorded at 10:21 p.m. and was tectonic in origin.
It said the epicenter was about 9 km southwest of Lian in Batangas.
Phivolcs said the quake was felt at:
Intensity II:
– Calatagan, Batangas
– Malabon City
– Navotas City
– Olongapo City
– Bacoor, Cavite
Intensity I:
– Tagaytay City
– Calumpit, Bulacan
No damage is expected but aftershocks are possible, it said.
