Batangas receives P81M for skills training program

The Department of Social Welfare and Development Calabarzon region ((DSWD-IVA) has forged a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Batangas provincial government for a sustainable livelihood program.

The partnership agreement was signed by DSWD Calabarzon Regional Director Leticia Diokno and Batangas Governor Hermilando Mandanas at the Provincial Capitol here. A P81-millio check was handed over to Mandanas for the skills training program.

Batangas is among the recipients of the DSWD program for the Calabarzon region comprising Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon.
