Antipolo wins Manila Bayani award
The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has lauded the Antipolo city government with the 2016 Manila Bayani Award for its full compliance to the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act.
The DILG also said the Antipolo city government showed “exemplary commitment in the protection, preservation, and conservation of Manila Bay.
Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares called the award is a big achievement for the city.
The Manila Bayani Award started in 2014 to honor local government units (LGU) near Manila Bay and their programs to protect Metro Manila’s iconic body of water.#
