PPP to boost Santa Rosa development – Arcillas

Jun 10, 2017 @ 14:49

Laguna First District Representative Arlene Arcillas is eyeing further development of the City of Santa Rosa through Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).

The Laguna politiko said the city government is planning to tap PPPs for the city’s integrated land development, market redevelopment, solid-waste management, mass transit, reclamation, and sports development.

She added that engaging the private sector will enable the Santa Rosa city government to improve the quality of its social services and infrastructure.

Arcillas stressed that implementing projects through PPPs will minimize costs, which will allow the city government to allocate funds for other social-welfare projects.

“The city of Santa Rosa would be able to go beyond what it has already been achieved and provided in the last decade through my administration. I believe a great leap toward more developments will be achieved through PPP,” Arcillas said.
