Di pwedeng puro hingi: Cong. Vi reiterates importance of working hard

Batangas Congresswoman and former Darna Vilma Santos addressed a pressing issue on the dynamics of the Philippine Politics and Public Service: The Filipino’s culture of hingi and pag-asa–in a bad light.
In one of her speeches in front of her kababayans, the Politiko stated that while it is the task of the state to help and provide for its people, one should not forget to work hard for himself and his family too.
On a Facebook post, she quoted:”Masarap makatanggap ng biyaya na pinaghirapan at pinagtrabahuan mo. Hindi pwedeng abot lang ng abot. We will do our share but you have to do your share too.”
Cong. Vi wants to promote Common Vision Shared Responsibility, which is acknowledging that every person should also strive to make their own life better in any way they can, instead of just waiting for someone to do the job for them.
