Mayor Ynares awards P100K to Antipolo’s centenarians

May 22, 2017 @ 9:43

Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares, on May 8, recognized the city’s six new centenarians or those who’ve reached 100 years old.

The new centenarians received P100,000 each.

Republic Act 10868 or the Centenarians Act of 2016 states that any Filipino citizen that reaches 100 years old will be awarded P100,000 from the government.

The six centenarians are Fatima Sancula of San Luis, Florentina Villamor of Cupang, Consorcia de Guzman of Sta. Cruz, Florentino dela Cruz of Mayamot, Martina Arao of Dalig, and Marcelina Pangilinan of Broadway Pines Executive Village.
