Batangas City’s CAFC is 2017 Gawad Saka finalist

May 20, 2017 @ 11:36

Batangas City’s City Agricultural and Fishery Council (CAFC) is one of this year’s finalists in the 2017 Gawad Saka Search for Outstanding Agricultural and Fishery Council.

Among the CAFC’s projects are hog, cattle, and goat farming, tilapia fingerlings disperal, turnover of boats to fisherfolk, and other livelihood trainings.

The CAFC has recently implemented the 4-day limit in the use of tractors so more farmers can avail of the equipment.

The same rule is also implemented in diving compressors for fishermen.

CAFC also supervises 37 Barangay Agricultural and Fishery Councils (BAFC) in Batangas City.
