Sen. Cynthia Villar was the guest of honor for Ilocos Norte’s 198th anniversary.
Governor Imee Marcos loves bringing bigshot guest home, and this year’s VIP was Villar. She was chosen for being the committee chairwoman of the Senate committee on agriculture, with Ilocos Norte remaining largely a farmers’ country.
