It seems that the Villafuertes of Camarines Sur has set their eyes on an all-female tandem well ahead of next year’s polls.
CamSur Gov. Migz Villafuerte has invited to the province Rep. Leni Robredo and Sen. Grace Poe on separate but successive occasions and even showed them around for a meet-and-greet with the people.
Robredo, who hails from the second district, was guest of honor last September for an official turnover of police vehicles. Poe, meanwhile, was welcomed like a rockstar to the province last Oct. 6, complete with tarpaulins that read “Ang CamSur masuporta Poe!”
It’s nice to note that of the four declared VP bets tracing their roots to the Bicol region, only Robredo was taken in. Is this a sign?
