Incumbent Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste has been formally named as the Liberal Party’s bet as governor next year.
The administration party has endorsed the young politiko to succeed Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto, who has maxed out her three terms. She is being eyed to be the running mate of Mar Roxas, but has since turned down the offer.
