There’s an even bigger problem for politikos wanting to be part of the Liberal Party (LP)’s senatorial lineup next year: almost all seats have been given away.
Regional LP chairman and Albay Gov. Joey Salceda said on Facebook that only one seat is likely up for grabs for senatorial aspirants for the May 2016 elections, as 11 of the 12 seats are already “secured.”
Interior secretary and LP’s anointed one Mar Roxas said Friday that about 22 to 24 are vying for a spot in the yellow slate. Better luck next time for those who won’t get a seat.
