Mon Tulfo calls Lani Cayetano ‘arrogant’ and a ‘tyrant’
Hard-hitting columnist Ramon Tulfo is calling out Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano, wife of Senator Alan Peter Cayetano, for acting high and mighty unlike other more high-profile mayors in Metro Manila.
In his Inquirer column, Tulfo wrote: “She’s only a mayor but already, she acts like a tyrant. You can imagine how she would act if she is elected to a higher office like her husband, Alan Peter, sister-in-law, Pia, and brother-in-law, Lino.”
Tulfo was angered by Cayetano’s refusal to give him an interview on his DWIZ radio program.
Tulfo wanted to get Cayetano’s side on an alleged fraud committed by her office’s legal officer, Gary Palmero, on a Filipinaand her Japanese boyfriend who wanted to get married.
Cayetano apparently does not grant media interviews and her staff directed Tulfo to talk to the city’s public information officer.
“Other Metro Manila mayors, especially Manila’s Joseph “Erap” Estrada, are always available for interviews. Mayor Cayetano should be reminded that she is a public servant no matter how important she thinks she is,” said Tulfo.
