Even centenarians get the boosted, says Imus Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi
There is no reason for senior citizens to fear the COVID-19 vaccine, and one good example is 101-year-old former Councilor Atty. Auring Abella.
Not only is Abella fully vaccinated, she recently got her booster dose, according to Imus Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi.
In a Facebook post, Maliksi said Abella had not needed to leave their house to get the shot.
She was given her booster dose by the house to house vaccination team, he said.
He said the team visits the elderly and persons with disabilities who have no means of leaving the house in order to administer their vaccine doses.
It is important for the city that the vulnerable population is protected, he said.
Nobody’s too old to get the shot!
“Hindi lamang FULLY VACCINATED, nagpa-BOOSTER DOSE pa ang 101 years old na si dating Konsehal Atty. Auring Abella!
#SerbisyongMaliksi,” Maliksi posted.
