Nagcarlan hosts singing contests for senior citizens
Senior citizens in Nagcarlan are about to have some fun and win some prizes.
Nagcarlan Mayor Ody Arcasetas announced that she would host a singing contest for Senior Citizens Day.
Arcasetas said the first prize winner would receive P5,000, the second placer P3,000 and the third placer P2,000.
The contest is open to male and female residents who are 60 years old and above.
She said the contestants could pick the song of their choice and it could be in English or Tagalog.
The deadline for submission of entries is at noon on December 12.
