Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino tells stories to encourage reading
Good stories can make good readers.
Santa Maria Mayor Cindy Carolino has encouraged the youth of her town to cultivate the habit of reading by sharing stories with them.
In a Facebook post, Carolino shared that she became a book or story reader as part of the National Reading Month celebration.
She urged the youth to make it a habit to read so that they could learn new things and develop their minds.
Time to open your books!

Ngayong araw ay ipinagdiwang ng ating Bayan sa pamamagitan ng DepEd ang National Reading Month. Hinihikayat laly’t higit sa mga magaaral at kabataan ang hilig sa pagbasa ng libro at iba pang makabuluhang materyales basahin.
Salamat sa pagkakataong maging kabahagi ng programang ito bilang isang ‘book/story reader’.
